The idea of superfood!
A holistic nutrition is about consuming whole-food, including vegetables, fruits, legumes, seeds, whole grains, lentils etc.
Stage 1 (6 month+):
- Millet – fine noodles (15mm length)
Let your child learn to dilute with saliva and swallow.
- The sweetness of pumpkin is akin to sweetness of breastmilk. Hence, pumpkin serves as good transitioning for your breast-fed babies from liquid to solid food journey.
Stage 2 (7 month+):
- Wild rice – thin noodles (130mm length)
Learn to slurp and chew.
- To a beet-lover, beets taste like earth: a sort of rich, earthly flavour. It is best to pair with bright, sweet, fresh flavour such as kelp and black fungus.
Stage 3 (8 month+):
- Quinoa – flat noodles (130mm length)
Learn to slurp, bite and tongue rolling during eating process
- Chlorella and kale have a very “green” flavour. Combining with the taste of “Quinoa”, the ancient grains, which has mild and slightly nutty flavour, It creates the taste of “sweet-nutty-green”.
